War Memorial Lünne

Immediately upon entering the town of Lünne from Bundesstrasse 70, there stands a memorial directly on the river “Große Aa” or Great Aa. The memorial commemorates the victims of the 2nd World War. It consists of a natural stone wall containing 4 marble plaques. At the top the text “our heroes” with in the middle the German cross. On the plaques left and right a figure and text, in the middle on the plaque the names of the victims.
