War Memorial Venhaus

In the town of Venhaus, municipality of Spelle, there is a memorial commemorating the victims of both World Wars and the German-French War of 1870. The memorial consists of a white ornament/chapel containing an opening where an Angel holds a fallen soldier. Below that on the base are 3 plaques with the names on the left and right, in the middle an inscription; “No one has greater love than he who gives his life for his friends.”
