Memorial B25 Mitchell III HD390 VO-U
On 26 February 2025, this monument, the first of 11 in the Municipality of Altena for crashed aircraft, was unveiled.
It commemorates B25 Mitchell III HD390 VO-U that crashed here on 25 February 1945. Three crew members were killed and the fourth was taken prisoner of war.
