In 1992, a plaque with an eagle was attached to the facade, to the left of the entrance, by the Belgian section of the Napoleonic International Friendships (translation) : "Here, Emperor Napoleon I spent the night of 14 to 15 June 1815."
On the first floor, in the director's office, there is another plaque (translation) : "Napoleon Bonaparte slept in this room on the night of 14 to 15 June. Here he gave his orders to his generals and made arrangements to meet the allied armies, four days before the Battle of Waterloo."
