War Memorial Beesten

This monument in memory of the victims of both world wars stands next to the church in Beesten in the Emsland region.
The monument consists of a canopy with a War Cross on the roof. Below it, in the centre, is a statue of Jesus and a kneeling soldier next to the body of a fallen soldier. The names of the victims are listed on plaques on the left and right.
In front of the monument stands a wrought iron stand with the German Stahlhelm and the German War Cross.
