The Ardennes Hunters Square is a rectangular square along the Notelaarstraat. Originally nameless, it was given its definitive name after the Second World War as a tribute to the Ardennes Hunters Regiment, an elite corps of the Belgian army that was founded in 1933 and that excelled during the conflict by defending a front that reached from Trois-Ponts to Athus.
The square was redesigned in 1965. In 1974, a monument made of Ourthe stone was erected with the regiment's insignia.
In addition, a Tree of Liberty was planted.
