Westwall - Remains Company Headquarters Bunker Roth bei Prüm

On February 27, 1945, the 87th US Infantry Division was prepared with the preparation to break the Westwall at Ormont. They were stationed on a 7 km front front between Scheid and Kobscheid.
The Westwall here had 2 lines of defense in which the first consisted of dragon teeth barriers with barbed wire at the foot of the hills and in the forests on the hills there were bunkers who could give interlinked fire. In addition, there were also mine fields and at the intersections and the roads there were roadblocks.
At this location, one of the bunkers of the Westwall that was attacked by Compagnie L of the 374th Infantry Regiment.
In this bunker the company Headquarters was established that controlled this part of the Westwall.
