Memorial Complex "Serpen Bridgehead"

This memorial complex is dedicated to heavy fighting for the Serpen bridgehead from April to August 1944. 11,360 Soviet soldiers and officers were killed in the battle and are buried here in a mass grave. It is estimated that there are in total nearly 20,000 soldiers buried in this grave today.
