Memorial Rudolf Benario

This information-sign, at the Uferpromenade, commemorates Rudolf Benario who was active at the kano-club which was located here. Rudolf Benario was, together with Ernst Goldmann the first people from Fürth who became victim of National-Socialism. They were both Jew and communist. On 12 April 1933, they were, together with Arthur Kahn, the first people who were murdered in Dachau concentration camp.
