Memorial Lancaster JA850

This memorial commemorates the crew of a Lancaster bomber that crashed in Sassenay. On August 14, 1943 at 2102 departs from Oakington airbase the Lancaster JA850 with the mission a raid over the city of Milan in Italy. For unknown reasons it crashed into Sassenay. In the crash all crew members were killed, they are all buried on the cemetery of Sassenay.
