At the Punta Falconera in Rosas, these bunkers can be found. In the region of Rosas are more bunkers, those bunkers are probably built during or just after the Second World War as part of the Spanish program of fortifications against the Germans or the Allies. Similar fortifications can be seen in the Bunker Park Martinet i Montellà. The defense from Rosas probably comes from an alternative plan of the Allies to have the 'Riviera Landings' (landings in southern France in August 1944) on the beaches around Argèles-sur-Mer (France) and in the Rosas bay (Spain) and then begin a liberation of both Spain and France. This plan was abandoned because the Americans thought General Franco would be helpful for them in the after war, to fight against Russians.
