These caves, at Überlingen on the Bodensee, were constructed by inmates of the satellite camp Überlingen-Aufkirch from June 1944 to April 1945. Of the 800 inmates, 168 died.
With an appointment, tours are given in the caves. The present entrance was built in the sixties after the original one was blown up by French troops.
