Camp Hammerbrook

Camp Hammerbrook was the largest satellite camp of Neuengamme concentration camp and existed from October 1944 to April 1945. On six floors of the building "Georgsburg", 2000 inmates were imprisoned. They had to work in de city after bombardments. Of the inmates, 800 died.

The building still exists. There is a plaque to commemorate the past.
