Memorial Camp Moschendorf

From 1941 on, this was a forced labor camp. On 3 September 1944, it became a satellite camp, first of Dachau concentration camp, later of Flossenbürg. There were about 100 inmates who had to repair SS-weapons. Four inmates died.

After World War II, the camp became a transit-camp for refugees, there was room for over 5000 people. Until 1957, also hundreds of thousands releases POWs went home though this camp.

The memorial commemorates the second era of the camp.
