SS-Command-Bunker Wiesbaden

This command bunker of the SS was constructed in 1944-1945 by inmates of Hinzert concentration camp. To facilitate the construction, a satellite camp for about 100 prisoners, "Unter den Eichen," was built at the site. During the construction six inmates were killed by an Alllied bombardment. Later they were violently thrown out of the shelter by the guards.

The command bunker is maintained. Inside is an exhibition dedicated to the camp.
