Memorial Camp Vechelde

Camp Vechelde existed from September 1944 to March 1945 and was a satellite camp of Neuengamme concentration camp. There were 200 inmates, mostly Jews from Lodz, in the camp, who had to work in a factory.

The entrance of the factory remained. Here is a plaque commemorating the inmates.
