Remembrance Place Gestapo Basement

In the basement of the western part of Osnabrück castle, the Gestapo had a small prison from 1938 to 1944. Of the five cells in the basement, three were maintained. Since 2001, the basement is a remembrance place and there is a permanent exhibition. Often there are also temporary exhibitions.
