Memorial Jewish Cemetery "am Grindel"
From 1711 on, the Jewish cemetery of Rotherbaum was located here. Under pressure of the Nazis, the cemetery was dismantled in 1937. Of the 8000 headstones, 450 could be transferred to an other cemetery, the rest was destroyed. As many remains as possible was also transferred.
