Fort de Bertheaume
The Fortress of Bertheaume was built in 1694. In World War II, the Germans used it as part of the Atlantic Wall and several bunkers were built. In 1944, there were heavy fights for the fortress between American and German troops.
Nowadays the fortress is open to visitors.
