Memorial Prisoners-of-War Camp Stalag 342
In July 1941, the Germans started a prisoners-of-war camp, Stalag 342, in Maladzechna. It was used until June 1944. Due to the extreme conditions, 33,150 inmates died in the camp.
There is now a large memorial on the location of the camp.
