Commonwealth War Graves General Cemetery Den Burg

Texel (Den Burg) General Cemetery contains a plot of 167 Commonwealth burials of the Second World War, most of them airmen. 44 of the burials are unidentified.

The Commonwealth War Cemetery in Den Burg also includes two Czechoslovak war graves.

The monument 'The story behind the headstone' is a book with the data of 123 of the total of 167 fallen soldiers buried at the Commonwealth portion of the General Cemetery of Den Burg are. It stands in a gazebo at the cemetery.

There are also plaques added with the story of the conduct of the war on the island.
