At the General Cemetery in Gemeaux is a row of French war graves. Two of these graves are from World War II. There is a grave of a civilian victim: Gilbert Poinsot, deceased on August 21, 1944. And the grave of Paul Boesphlug, a member of the Forces Françaises de l'Intérieur, the French Forces of the Interior. This organization was a kind of army which consisted of former resistance fighters. Paul died on September 15, 1944.
