French War Grave Santilly

At the cemetery in Santilly is a French war grave from World War II. It is the grave of Pierre Auguste, he was killed in 1939 during the French invasion of Germany. Just after the declaration of war against Germany, the French invaded into Germany and captured a piece of the Saarland. The French stopped the fighting, although they easily could have gone further.
