Memorial Killed Airmen 1944

This memorial commemorates the Allied airmen that died in 1944. During the Second World War, many bombers crashed in this area. There are no names on the monument, it is therefore not known whether this monument commemorates all airmen or only the airmen who died in this area. In a very short distance from the monument are Commonwealth graves from 1944.
