War Memorial Nieuwendijk
The Memorial commemorates the residents of Nieuwendijk who died because of the Second World War, especially during the Allied artillery shootings on 12/12/1944 and 15/04/1945.
Some executed members of the resistance also came from Nieuwendijk and are mentioned on this memorial.
It also commemorates two killed soldiers during the Second World War in the Dutch East Indies and two soldiers during the Indonesian Independence War.
