At Le Cimetière des Carmes in Clermont-Ferrand are many graves from the Second World War. Most graves are lined up at the back of the cemetery and have identical stones. An exception is the mass grave of ten resistance fighters who were executed on March 30, 1944. The graves are marked with a sign on both sides indicating that they are war graves from World War II. Furthermore, there are some graves on the cemetery from World War II, these are burials in family graves.
On the municipal cemetery in Clermont-Ferrand is also a French field of honour of WWI.
