Historical Museum Velikiye Luki

This museum is part of the memorial complex in Velikiye Luki and is for the most part devoted to the fighting for this city from 1942 to 1943. Visitors can exhibit many documents, personal items and photographs from the war years. The museum provides extensive attention to the story behind the famous Hero of the Soviet Union Alexander Matrosov.
