Memorial Mary Merodeplein Tilburg

On the Merode Square in the district Old South stands a French sandstone statue of Lady Mary. The statue was placed by the residents of this area in 1943 to request the protection against war violence. After renovation of the housing area, the monument was by Mr. Mayor. G. Ph. Brokx again revealed on May 12, 1992.
