At the Strand Military Cemetery in Comines-Warneton are 1151 Commonwealth war graves. Of these, 1143 are from the First World War. The cemetery also contains a number of German war graves from the First World War.
There are also eight graves of World War II of which three are not identified. The five identified casualties are:

Private Jack Davies, 28 years, May 28, 1940
Rifleman Herbert Shaw, 32 years, May 28, 1940.
Lance Corporal Owen Powell Evans, 19 years, May 27, 1940.
Serjeant Charles Arthur Stephen Holden, 30 years, May 26, 1940.
