Memorial Killed Resistance Fighters

On 18 and 19 February 1945 five men were arrested in Alkmaar and were brought to the Amsterdam prison on the Weteringschans.
On March 1 the resistance in Zaandam shot down a bad cop. As retaliation, the five men were on March 10 transported to Zaandam.
At the Bernhard Bridge, these five men were shot by a firing squad.
