Crash Site & Wreckage B-24J Liberator Bomber Mill Hill
On 11 October 1944, the B-24J Liberator bomber (serial number: 42-52003) of the 310th Ferry Squadron, 27th Air Transport Group crashed here. The two crew members survived the crash. The wreckage of the aircraft can still be exhibited.
