Chittagong Memorial 1939-1945

The Chittagong Memorial 1939-1945 is situated within the Commonwealth War Cemetery in Chittagong and commemorates over 400 sailors of the former Indian Navy and over 6,000 sailors of the former Indian Merchant Navy who were lost at sea during the Second World War. A total of 6,469 names are enscribed on these pages.

The Chittagong Memorial 1939-1945 is identical to the Bombay Memorial 1939-1945, each commemorating the same 6,469 casualties.
