Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum

The museum is located around the control tower of former RAF Dumfries. The majority of the aircraft is post WW2. Exceptions are the Spitfire mk2 restoration project and a part of a Airspeed Horsa fuselage. The control tower houses a fine collection of aircraft engines. This museum has a special display about the Parachute Regiment and the Airborne Forces.
