Memorial Bombed Building

This building was destroyed by Allied bombing on Christmas Eve 1944. Bitburg was heavily bombed that night to disrupt German supplies during the Ardennes offensive. An estimated 80-90% of the town was destroyed that night. It was rebuilt after the war.
