Base Spigot Mortar
This is the base of a Spigot mortar, an anti-tank weapon which was supplied to the Home Guard.
It is now a memorial with the text:
Gun mounting erected for the Home Guard in defence of our village 1939-1945
On the other side of the crossroads is a simular base.
