Soviet War Cemetery Michendorfer Chaussee

This war cemetery contains the graves of 2,398 Soviet soldiers and officers who fell in the fighting for Potsdam in April 1945 or died due to their wounds thereafter. There are also 2,829 post-war graves on this cemetery.
The cemetery was constructed in 1946 for the reburring of deceased soldiers from the surrounding towns.
