Memorial 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion & Welsh Regiment Buggenum

On the cemetery wall behind the church in Buggenum, municipal Haelen, are plaques:

- Presented by veterans of the 1st Canadian Parachute Battalion in May 1995.
- Dedicated to the killed men of the Welsh Regiment that liberated Buggenum. Text on the Memorial:
