Memorial Captain S.I. Gusev
This memorial is dedicated to the Soviet Captain S.I. Gusev who fell on 18 January 1945 in the bloody fighting for Gumbinnen (today: Gusev). He was posthumously awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union title on 19 January 1945 for heroic acts on the battlefield.
