Kronstadt Fortress - Fort "Grand Duke Konstantin"

This fort is one of the largest artillery forts of Kronstadtand was built in the 19th century. Two MG casemates were attached to the fort in the period 1934-1935 and the "10 guns at the left wing were replaced by four 45mm guns. These guns aided the Oranienbaum bridgehead during the Siege of Leningrad (1941-1944).

The fort today:
Fort "Grand Duke Konstantin" is frequently used for cultural events.
