Memorial Lancaster KB728

KB 728 was a 419 Squadron Lancaster. It exploded in mid- air, following a combat with a night-fighter and crashed 01:30 hrs 17June 1944 alongside the Huissensedijk and close to the Dutch Reformed Church at Elden.

De text on the plaque is:
ON JUNE THE 17TH 1944 A LANCASTER BOMBER OF THE ROYAL CANADIAN AIRFORCE CRASHED. DE ENTIRE CREW WAS KILLED:
