Memorial Marcelis van Bemmel
Marcelis van Bemmel Sr. was the headchef of the local police in Monster and member of the resistance in World War II. He was shot at the Waalsdorpervlakte on 2 Juli 1942. His son, Marcelis van Bemmel Jr. was also a member of the resistance and died in Dachau concentration camp, on 27 February 1945.
This plaque for Marcelis van Bemmel Sr. is located at the police-station Westland in Naaldwijk.
