Memorial ROF 53

In Bridgens were, from 1937 to 1946, the factories of the Royal Ordnance Factories 11, 41 and 53 (also known as the 'The Bridgend Arsenal') which contributed to the production of bombs and ammunition in World War II. This memorial commemorates the employees of ROF 53 whose lives were accidentally taken in this dangerous work.
