Memorials Holme-on-Spalding-Moor

On the border of former RAF airfield Holme-on-Spalding-Moor are a couple of memorials. There’s one in stone to remember personell of no 76 Squadron, who died in action. Behind this, there’s a memorial tree for members of no 458 (RAAF) Squadron who were killed in action. Beside this is a memorial tree to commemorate Group Captain Lord Chesire VC, OM, DSO, DFC, 1917-1992, who was commanding officer of no 76 Squadron in 1942-1943.
