Memorial Resistance Hero Kees Chardon

This plaque is to commemorate Mr. Kees ("Paul") Chardon (1919-1945) who hided many Jewish people in his house. He died in Wöbelin Camp in Germany, at the age of 26.

His story is also described in the book Sonny Boy written by Annejet van der Zijl.
