This memorial, to commemorate the Georgian Uprise, is located at the Joost Dourlein Barracks and contains three plaques:
The first one tells the story of the uprise. At the barracks, 70 Georgians were executed by the Germans.
On the second one contains the names of 10 residents of Texel who were shot by the Germans as reprisal measurement, on 6 April 1945.
The third one contains the names of a civilian who was killed during a airstrike on De Mok airfield, on 8 June 1940.
