Monument Deportees and Resistance Fighters

Around the medieval Noble tower are plaques commemorating the French resistance fighters and deportees. In the tower is an engraved urn with ashes and bones of martyrs who gave their lives in one of the many camps set up by the Nazis. The monument can only be visited after contacting the tourist office of Lille or on special days of commemoration.
