This monument has been erected in memory of the fallen from Floria. On the third day of the Battle of Crete (23 May 1941), the Germans fought against the allies who protected the retreating troops. During this fight the Germans lost 25 men. At the second June 1941, Floria became an inferno; according the British, the German should executed 180 people. The command for wreck came from Kurt Student. Floria wasn't the only victim of reprisals.
