This grave was created direct after the bloody fighting for Piaseczno in the night of 9 to 10 September 1939. The remaining fallen Polish soldiers in the city were exhumed and reburied here on 19 October 1939. During the Warsaw Uprising in 1944, it was once again a mass burial site when the Germans executed a number of Poles in Piaseczno and surroundings.
There are currently 109 Poles buried in this grave.
