RAF Avro Lancaster LM693 collided with RAF Avro Lancaster LM169 on September 16, 1944 around 23:00 during an attack on the Moerdijk Bridge. Both aircraft crashed close together in and near the Mariapolder in Strijensas.

The crew of the RAF Avro Lancaster LM169 is buried in Dordrecht.
