Along the driveway of the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre stands a memorial. The text on the central stone is: "IN MEMORY OF THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES WITH 57 AND 630 SQUADRONS 1939-1945". More than 1000 servicemen were killed. On the left plaque the poem "Old Airfield" is displayed. On the right plaque is a text to thank the people of East Kirkby by the members of 57 and 630 squadron who erected this memorial in 1979.
